Ahava promises “Beauty Secrets from the Dead Sea.” But the real secrets it keeps are an ugly truth—its products actually come from stolen Palestinian natural resources in the Occupied Territory of the Palestinian West Bank, and are produced in the illegal settlement of Mitzpe Shalem. More...

TAKE ACTION AT AN AHAVA STORE!
Follow our 10-step guide here!

TAKE ACTION ONLINE!

We invite you to sign our petitions, send letters to chain store CEOs, or join our online action team!

1. Tell Macy’s to stop carrying Ahava and SodaStream!
To honour Palestinian Land Day (March 30) we are asking you to contact Macy’s, the department store and ask that they stop selling Ahava and SodaStream -- products made in illegal Israeli settlements. More...

2. Ask Nordstrom to stop selling AHAVA!
Nordstrom, a chain of department stores that touts itself as a socially responsible business needs to live up to its socially responsible business promises!

3. Tell Ricky’s NYC, a family-owned chain store in New York City, to‘Stop carrying AHAVA cosmetics!'
Click here to join us in sending a message to Ricky's NYC president, Dominick Costello.

4. Will you sign our petition to big box store Bed Bath & Beyond asking them to stop carrying 'Ahava' cosmetics and 'SodaStream' home carbonation system, made in illegal Israeli settlements? These products are fraudulently labeled as “Made in Israel”, but are in fact produced in illegal settlements under the conditions of the military occupation in the West Bank, way outside the internationally-recognized borders of Israel.

5. Join us in sending an email to ULTA President, CEO and Director Carl "Chuck" Rubin urging ULTA to stop carrying Ahava products! Learn more here and click here to email him now!

6. Ask Lonely Planet to take Ahava off their agenda! Lonely Planet's Guide to Israel and the Palestinian Territories has a recommendation for shopping at the Ahava Factory Outlet and Store. Please explain to Lonely Planet that there is an international boycott campaign against Ahava. Ahava is engaged in illegal practices, making products in a factory in an illegal Israeli settlement—Mitzpe Shalem— that it then falsely labels as ‘Products of Israel'. Please make sure you choose the option ‘Warning: Health or safety risk; theft or scam' when making your complaint.

TAKE ACTION:

  • Fill out a feedback form on the Lonely Planet Site
  • Select Israel & the Palestinian Territories, Edition 6
  • Follow options: Business or Service: Dead Sea, Palestinian Territories (Israel is offered--but type in Pal. Territories): AHAVA: Dead Sea, p. 335
  • Choose an option: Warning: Health or safety risk; theft or scam

OR send Lonely Planet a letter, use ours as your template.
